Crafty weekend

It was so nice to have all of Memorial Day weekend off to get my crafty things done.  Saturday was too hot to spend much time outside but I was able to work on my Christmas cross stitch and try to figure out how I have poor old Santa's head and hat askew.  I think I can fix it by a little eyeballing and adjusting but it's frustrating to see that even with grids and a highlighter on the pattern I still managed to lose track of where I was.

Sunday we spent a few hours at Mass Sheep and Wool and came home with some very cool new toys.  My favorite thing is the new project bag from Jessalu. The farm animals are just about the cutest thing I've seen in a bag.

Here's the knitting project I've picked back up.  It's the Travelling Fern Lace Scarf
by Sherry Xie from Purple Craft House.  It's really addicting with this Poems sock yarn that I bought on our vacation to Seattle last summer.
